There certainly is a lot going on in New Jersey these days. There is also a lot going on in Toms River as well as we continue to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our very own Vin Ebeneu had a chance to sit down with Toms River Mayor Mo Hill to talk to him about everything going on for another edition of "Ask the Mayor".

In the 30-minute interview, Vin spoke to Mayor Hill about the impact COVID has had on local businesses and restaurants.

They also had a chance to talk about the redevelopment of Downtown Toms River.

*Side note*...If you have not had a chance to check out the "Downtown Night-Out" on Friday and Saturday nights in downtown Toms River, I highly suggest you do so before the weather turns too cold for outdoor dining. You should also check out Garden State Distillery, and Battle River Brewery. They both are a great time.

Now back to the video...Vin also talked to Mayor Mo Hill about Halloween this year and what to expect during the pandemic.

If you're not in the mood to sit through the entire video, and you just want to hear about Halloween stuff, forward to the 21:30 mark

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the annual Toms River Halloween parade has unfortunately been canceled. Trick or treating will take its place this year on Halloween in place of the parade between 2 p.m and 8 p.m

Check out the video (I already have it started at the 21:30 mark)...You're welcome:
