Health South "MUGGING" yesterday!

Good morning!

I was told years ago by a mentor and friend that one should spent all of their time focused on issues that are within one's control and none of one's time on issues that are beyond one's control. Tonight, as the nation mourns the largest mass assault on law enforcement since 9/11/01, I am personally wondering if we have focused so much on global terrorism that we haven't kept our own house in order. The recent events in Baton Rouge and in Minnesota captured on video have rocked a nation and clearly sent some over the edge. We can only hope that cooler heads prevail and that leaders across the country can restore order within their communities by appealing that an eye for an eye is not the answer. As of this morning, it is clear that every one of our law enforcement officers is at risk and we cannot point at ISIS this time.
