We wake up to a rainy Monday, but it's toward the middle of the week that there is some concern of accumulating snow.

It is the middle of December after all, so it should come as no surprise that snow is in the forecast. We're talking about the potential for some early day snow on Wednesday,  ut at 48 hours out, we know a lot can change.

There are forecasts out there that are already talking about a couple of inches of snow early in the day on Wednesday The early estimates are about an inch along the coast and up to 3 inches inland, but it's still early to tell.

Your best bet is to pay attention to the one guy who is focused on our area when it comes to the latest weather, our Chief Meteorologist Dan Zarrow. There's plenty of time for changes and adjustments to weather outlook, so check back frequently.

In the meantime, we have temperatures expected to peak in the 50's today and may even hit 60 tomorrow, so you never know when it comes to December at the Jersey Shore.
