One thing we all love in the Garden State is a good sandwich. One publication has placed one sandwich above all the rest in the Garden State.

Recently, Cheapism named the "must try sandwich" in each state across America, and according to them, New Jersey's top sandwich does not contain pork roll. So which sandwich tops their list?

First of all, you should you know, if you want to try their first choice, you need to be prepared to travel for about an hour north to get one. You'll be on your way up the Parkway to South Orange.

The sandwich is the Sloppy Joe at Town Hall Deli in South Orange, where they have been serving it up since 1935, but these days it features turkey and roast beef, as opposed to the ham and beef tongue that used to be the popular version.

Now, if your not in the mood to travel an hour or so for a sandwich, how about grabbing my favorite...a #7, Mike's Way at Jersey Mike's on Bridge Ave. If you haven't had one, add that to your "must try" list.
