MOUNT HOLLY - A stabbing death behind an empty store in Pemberton last summer leads to a first-degree murder indictment against a defendant from Wrightstown.

Frank Walker III, 41, is also charged with third- and fourth-degree weapons charges fo rthe death of Diana Stillwell, 29, of Pemberton, last July, according to the office of Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina. Walker has been in the Burlington County Jail since his August 18 arrest. His arraignment is scheduled for November 27.

Police, alerted by a passer-by who reported screams from the back of the strip mall in the Browns Mills section, rusht to the spotnear Juliustown and Pemberton-Browns Mills Road, at about 8:45 PM on July 13 last year.

They found Stillwell's lifeless body with severe lacerations across the upper torso, authorities said, and the subsequent autopsy deemed stabbing to be the cause of death.

Investigators have disclosed no possible motive, or whether Walker has legal representation. The County's case is being conducted by Assistant Prosecutor Bob VanGilst, head of the Major Crimes Unit.

Charges are accusations. Defendants are presumed innocent unless, and until, found guilty in a court of law.
