A 17-year old girl from Hillsborough has been given a summons for Careless Driving after causing a collision that sent two people from Maple Shade to the hospital following a crash Saturday on Route 72 in Stafford Township.

Stafford Police said the 17-year old was heading east in a 2011 Toyota on Route 72 when she crashed into a 2014 Hyundai waiting to turn into a plaza driveway near Hull Road.

Frank Beck, 53 of Maple Shade, the driver in the other vehicle, was brought to Atlantic City Medical Center after the arrival of Stafford Police, Stafford Fire Department and Stafford and Barnegat EMS on scene, for his injuries and was scheduled to be released from care.

Beck's passenger was brought to Southern Ocean Medical Center and then released.

The 17-year old juvenile driver was treated and released from Southern Ocean Medical Center.

She was given a Careless Driving summons pending an appearance in the Stafford Municipal Court.
