Class A North

Middletown South 65, Manalapan 58

Senior Tom Schork and junior Dylan Csik each scored 16 points and the Eagles (8-12, 4-8) battled past the Braves (9-9, 6-6).

Junior Rob Powell also poured in 13 points for Middletown South, which outscored Manalapan, 23-12, in the fourth quarter.

Senior Mike Cerreto scored a game-high 19 points, senior Mike Bimonte added 16 points and senior Gabe Blackwell pitched in 10 to lead Manalapan.

No. 6 CBA 64, Long Branch 33

Senior Pat Lautato scored nine points and sophomore Peter Noble chipped in eight as the Colts (14-5, 8-4) coasted to a win over the Green Wave (1-17, 0-12).

Junior Bruce Gooding led Long Branch with 15 points and Peter DaCruz chipped in 10 in the loss.

 

Class B North

No. 4 St. John Vianney 82, Freehold Boro 56

Senior Omar Calderon scored 15 points and senior Nate Williams made another push for a triple-double to lead the Lancers (19-4, 10-0) to a win over the Colonials (0-21, 0-10) to finish the regular season with a perfect division record.

Williams finished with 14 points, nine rebounds and seven assists and senior Justice Brayboy chipped in 10 points for St. John Vianney.

 

Class B Central

Mater Dei Prep 66, Asbury Park 52

Seniors Jayden Cabrera and Anthony Tancredi combined for 39 points and 31 rebounds, with each posting a double-double to help the Seraphs (7-12, 7-5) top the Blue Bishops (4-11, 4-8).

Cabrera led the way with 22 points and 16 rebounds and Tancredi pitched in 17 points and 14 boards. Senior Cal Lugay also poured in 12 points for Mater Dei.

Senior Lydell Brown led Asbury Park with 12 points, while juniors Sha'Born Goodman and Davon Foster each added 11 in the loss.

Keyport 69, Point Beach 60

Senior D.J. Thomson scored a game-high 30 points and the Red Raiders (15-3, 10-2) rallied from a 12-point third-quarter deficit to beat the Garnet Gulls (8-8, 5-6).

Senior George Mitchell added 10 points and 10 rebounds for Keyport, which outscored Point Beach, 29-11, in the fourth quarter. Junior Max Judson also pitched in 10 points, seven rebounds and four assists while classmate Terrek Mimes contributed 10 points, six rebounds and five assists for the Red Raiders.

Senior Andrew Seaman led Point Beach with 18 points while junior Kevin Burns put up 17 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists in the loss. Senior Andrew Laumbach also threw in 14 for the Garnet Gulls.

 

Non-Division

Wall 49, Keansburg 27

Senior Chris Mitchell scored a game-high 18 points and the Crimson Knights (2-15) rolled to a win over the Titans (5-14).

Donovan Catholic 54, Toms River North 45

Senior Vin Coburn scored 12 points on four three-pointers and classmate Alex Melon added 11 points and seven assists to help the Griffins (14-6) race past the Mariners (10-12), knocking Toms River North out of the Shore Conference Tournament.

Senior Kyree Drake added 10 points and classmate Jalin Butler pitched in eight points and 11 rebounds for Donovan Catholic.

Senior Lamir Mitchell led Toms River North with 16 points.
