Toms River announces council and other meetings list for 2020

It's a new year with new beginnings in Toms River with Councilman Maurice "Mo" Hill winning the 2019 election to become mayor alongside three new councilman in 2020.

Hill (Now the Mayor), George Whittman and Brian Kubiel (retired in 2019) are no longer on the council and are replaced by Kevin Geoghegan, Matthew Lotano and Joshua Kopp to join Laurie Huryk, Terrance Turnbach and Daniel Rodrick on the Toms River Township Council.

The new mayor and councilmen were sworn into office during the annual reorganization meeting on Friday January 3 in the municipal building in downtown Toms River.

As 2020 gets underway, Toms River Township Clerk Destiny Reynolds has provided a list of meeting dates and times for this year where you can be apart of the discussion at various meetings.

2020 Council Meetings will take place on the following Tuesday’s at 6:00 p.m., unless otherwise noted by the township of Toms River:

The Township of Toms River said that resolutions may be adopted at these public conferences and/or regular meetings, providing for the Toms River Township Council to meet in Executive Session, specifying matters to be discussed requiring confidentiality or of a privileged nature.
