No. 10 Manalapan 18, Long Branch 1

The Braves (2-2, 2-2) built a 14-0 halftime lead on their way to a victory over the Green Wave (0-3, 0-2).

No. 1 Rumson-Fair Haven 17, No. 7 Howell 6

Junior attackman Quinn Stankovits tallied five goals and two assists and senior midfielder Tommy French sank three goals with one assist as the Bulldogs (4-1) scored a dominant top-10 win over the Rebels (2-2).

Rumson led 10-2 at halftime and then scored five goals in the third quarter to bring a 15-4 advantage into the final period.

Cole Cashion scored twice, Grayson Goldin had a goal and an assist, and Jack McCarren, Zach Iwan, Bryce Devlin, Brody Page, Connor Spaganuola, and Philip Passalaqua each scored once. William Setteducate made seven saves and Marshall Halfacre made two saves splitting time in goal.

Senior goalie Colin Fay made 19 saves for Howell while junior attackman Nate Lorenzo led the Rebels' offense with two goals and two assists. Vincent Burns added a goal and two assists, Chris Calafire, Doug MacKenzie, and Jack Marich each scored once, and Vin Meehan had one assist.

 

No. 2 Manasquan 15, Holmdel 3

Junior attackman James Farinacci scored five goals and added one assist and senior FOGO Max Pauwels won 19 of 21 faceoffs to lead the Warriors (4-0) to a decisive victory over the Hornets (3-2).

Nick Carabetta also had a big game with four goals and one assist while Robert Pendergist had three goals and one assist and Brandon Kunz tallied two goals and one assist. Blake Gorski played set-up man and dished out four assists, Niland DiLuchio scored once, and Carter Groezinger (7 saves) and Nick Bounassi (3 saves) shared time in goal.

Dylan Lagana and Kyle Kapcsos scored for Holmdel and Andrew Arredondo made 12 saves.

Manasquan led 9-2 at halftime and 12-3 heading into the fourth quarter.

 

Jackson Memorial 6, Middletown North 5

 

Ocean 4, Toms River East 1

Junior goalie Blaine Grayson stood on his head with 26 saves and sophomore midfielder Ben Girard totaled three goals and one assist as the Spartans used a lockdown defensive effort to stifle the Raiders. Senior attackman Michael Terry added a goal and two assists.

 

Lacey 8, Brick 1

Senior attackman Gaetano Dimiele scored three goals and one assist and junior goalie Chad Moore made eight saves to lead the Lions past the Dragons.

Matt VanNortwick tallied two goals and one assist, John Dodaro added a goal and two assists, freshman Corey Smith had a goal and an assist, and Diego Wolf scored once.

 

Jackson Liberty 7, Freehold Township 6

Sophomore Paul Capozzi erupted for six goals and one assist and sophomore Matthew LaBianca was outrageous with 33 saves to power the Lions (2-3) to a victory over the Patriots (0-4).

Billy Schuller added one goal and Reese Stewart had an assist and picked up a game-high four ground balls.

Jaden Buckley and Nick Carnevale each had two goals and one assist for Freehold Township. Aidan Harrington had a goal and an assist, Nolan Thompson scored once, Doug Kemble had an assist, and Tommy McNamara made 15 saves.
