Remember back in December when parts of Monmouth County and the rest of the state got pounded with snow but Ocean County got nothing?  It kind of makes you think the odds are good that snow's coming soon, right?  Riddle me this.  Do you think you have a better chance of winning $865 million with the Mega Millions tonight at 11 or driving through snowflakes tomorrow morning between 7 am and 9 am in Ocean County?  The answer...

SNOW!  The odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot is 1 in 302 million.  The odds of snow tomorrow is 1 in 3 or 1 in 2.  According to the National Weather Service, there's a 30-50% chance of snow in Ocean County between 7 am and 9 am on Wednesday, January 20th.  It's been a dry winter, so I'll be happy to (hopefully) see the flakes.  If you're driving, proceed with caution.

To make it even more eventful Wednesday, expect gusts of wind in the 20 to 30 mile per hour range.  And...it'll be cold.  The wind chill looks like it'll sit in the 20s most of the day and hit a low of 19 degrees around 9 pm. THE.  COLDEST.  NIGHT.  OF.  THE.  WINTER...so far.

To summarize, we could have a real wintery day.  Snow, wind, and cold air could make tomorrow one for a true winter jacket!

Does meteorologist Dan Zarrow think snow is indeed coming?

Models have indeed trended toward a more favorable environment for isolated to widely scattered snow showers Wednesday morning.
