Point Pleasant, NJ Pizzeria Owner And Reality Star Makes A Match
Giuseppe Castronovo took to television to find love, and that didn't work out, but he did make a match on The Jersey Shore Morning Show.
When we heard that Giuseppe was unceremoniously tossed from the TV reality show The Courtship, we thought this could be a good opportunity for someone at the Jersey Shore to win the date of a lifetime.
We called it Slice of Love since Giuseppe is the owner of Oakwood's Point Pizza in Point Pleasant Borough, and narrowed it down to one finalist.
Giuseppe showed up this morning to the Jersey Shore Morning Show, questions in hand, hoping he would feel a connection with Contestant #1, who was waiting in a concealed booth to answer those questions.
Our Contestant #1 did a great job answering the questions and had a few of her own for our local celebrity bachelor. They seemed to be hitting it off.
The big question was were they both going to feel enough of a connection to agree to a first date? The answer was a big "yes" from both of them. A Slice of Love connection!
Contestant #1, Ariana from Eatontown, had seen Giuseppe on the website, but he had never seen her, and we caught the moment the two first locked eyes. Here's Giuseppe at that moment.
And it seemed to be a nice moment for Ariana as well.
We don't know how it will all work out, but we are glad there will be a first date for these two. Thanks to everyone who participated and voted. These are two really nice people and we were happy to spend time with both of them.
