An Ocean Township car burglar has found himself in handcuffs.

When that didn't work he took off.

The investigation began and the surveillance footage was reviewed.

He came back later that night to a different driveway and took an iPad from an unlocked car.

The homeowner was able to track the iPad installed in the device ("find my iPad") to Reid Jr.'s Neptune Township home on Wayside Road where he was arrested.

Reid Jr. was found to be in possession of the stolen iPad and was charged with two counts of attempted burglary, one count of burglary, and one count of theft.

He was transported to the county jail where he is awaiting his initial court hearing.
