Recently, Point Pleasant Beach has been the setting of a few exciting headlines. Last week, I wrote about BoatYard401. This new restaurant will be located at 401 Broadway and the owners plan to start serving customers this fall. The very popular and successful Fahey Restaurant Group will own its 4th restaurant/bar at the Jersey Shore. They always support local musicians, local chefs, and local products. Residents of Point Pleasant Beach should be very excited about the opening of Boatyard401!

More good news coming out of Point Pleasant Beach... A HUGE congratulations to Kale Yeah Salad Shop for its recent opening. This new Jersey Shore business offers a tasty and healthier option for those in Ocean County. Kale Yeah Salad Shop is located at 516 Bay Ave in Point Pleasant Beach. MY OPINION: Kale Yeah Salad Shop is a tremendous addition to the town of Point Pleasant Beach. Many locals will agree that a healthy option is much needed in the area. I am picturing you enjoying a nice October day and you're spending some time in downtown Point Pleasant. Instead of grabbing a burger or something unhealthy, you decide to stop at Kale Yeah Salad Shop. Not only will your meal taste good, but it will also make you feel better about yourself. Think about next summer too... When you're making your way to the beach, instead of eating boardwalk fries and pizza, stop at Kale Yeah Salad Shop!
