Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Cary Shill announced Thursday that an Atlantic County Grand Jury handed up the indictment against all four residents for their roles in operating a crystal meth distribution ring.

Atlantic County Prosecutors learned that between January and March of this year Frank Fattori, Alex Strickland, Melvin Delcid-Carias and Kristen Schroeder kept on dealing crystal meth and their drug ring closed after they unknowingly dealt quantities of the drug to an undercover police detective on multiple occasions.

All in all, Atlantic County Prosecutors and law enforcement seized more than one pound of crystal methamphetamine during the investigation run by the Liberty Mid-Atlantic HIDTA Task Force, Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns, & Narcotics Unit and the Somers Point Police Department.

Frank Fattori, 40, of Somers Point is being charged with Distribution of Crystal Methamphetamine over Five Ounces (1st degree) and Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine (3rd degree).

Alex Strickland, 35, of Monroeville, (remains in custody at Atlantic County Justice Facility), is being charged with Distribution of Crystal Methamphetamine (1st degree) and
Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine (3rd degree).

Melvin Delcid-Carias, 52, of Egg Harbor Township is being charged with Distribution of Crystal Methamphetamine (2nd degree) and Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine (3rd degree).

Kristen Schroeder, 47, of Atco is being charged with Distribution of Crystal Methamphetamine (2nd degree) and Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine (3rd degree).

Acting Prosecutor Shill said that Chief Assistant Prosecutor Erik Bergman represents the state in the matter.
