Police in Egg Harbor Township continue to investigate what led to a two car accident on Thursday that tragically claimed the life of two residents from Pennsylvania.

Timothy Millett, 51, of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania was heading west in a 2015 Volkswagen on Delilah Road when he suddenly crossed the center line and collided head-on with a 2013 Mazda CX9, driven by John Ward, 52, of Lansdale, Pennsylvania who was heading in the east direction, police said in a statement, and then a 2014 Dodge Journey, driven by Anthony Dorto, 50, of West Berlin, New Jersey and also heading east, collided with the Mazda in a secondary collision.

Officers arrived on scene to Delilah Road near the Parkway overpass in the Farmington section of town around 1:32 pm Thursday afternoon to investigate and assess the scene.

There were serious injuries as a result of the collisions.

Police said that Millett and his passenger, Sara Hutchison, 35, of Clarks Summit Pennsylvania, were transported to AtlantiCare Trauma Center in Atlantic City.

Tragically, Millett and Hutchison were pronounced deceased a short time later.

Ward was also brought to AltlantiCare City with serious injuries.

Dorto was transported to AtlantiCare Mainland with moderate injuries.

There is no current update on their conditions as of Friday morning.

Egg Harbor Police said they were assisted at the scene by Galloway Township Police Department, Pleasantville Police Department, AtlantiCare Paramedics, Egg Harbor Township Ambulance Squad, Northfield Rescue Squad and Farmington Fire Company.

Sergeant Lawrence Graham, Officer Robert Moran, and Officer Louis Poletis, Officer Patrick Daly and Officer Thomas Rizzotte of the Egg Harbor Township Police Department Traffic Safety Unit are investigating the crash.
