Tyrell Gist, 24, was indicted for 2 counts of Strict Liability Homicide in connection to the drug related deaths as well as 5 Counts of 2nd degree Distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance within 500 Feet of a public park, 1 Count of 3rd degree Distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance within 1000 feet of a school zone, 6 Count of 3rd degree Distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, 5 Count of 3rd degree Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and 2 Money Laundering 3rd degree.

ACPO Gangs, Guns Narcotics Unit Detectives collared Gist in June following an extensive investigation into the deaths of Scott P. Jordon, 43, and Simon Gamble, 40, both from the United Kingdom.

They were discovered on March 8, 2020 when Detectives responded to room 3241 at Bally's Casino after being notified about two drug related deaths.

Detectives used surveillance video from Bally's Casino and it pointed them right to Gist as the suspect.

Investigators also ran a lab analysis of the CDS from toxicology reports as well as CDS that was seized from the room of the victims and Gist.

The results were incriminating enough to charge Gist and tie him to the homicides.

Assistant Atlantic County Prosecutor Allison Eiselen is representing the state in this case.
