2-year old boy nearly drowns in pool at Jackson home
A 2-year old Jackson boy nearly drowns after falling into a swimming pool on Marymount Court Wednesday morning around 9:25 am.
The toddler had been pulled out of the water before police arrived and EMS members of Hatzolah was reviving him with CPR.
They were able to get a pulse back and the child was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center for treatment.
The initial investigation revealed that the child left the home on his own out of a rear door and then got into the pool.
He was then discovered by an adult who had been out of the house and had returned home and went into the backyard.
The investigation is being conducted by Det. John Rodriguez and is ongoing at this time.
