YUCK! The Jersey Shores Least Favorite Thanksgiving Side Dishes
So Thanksgiving is getting closer and of course, it's a day for the three "F's" ... Family, Food, and Football! and in this article, we are gonna once again talk about the "side dishes"
Now we are going to talk about the side dishes, but we are going to take a different angle this time as we talk about the "worst" side dishes. These are the side dishes that folks here at the Jersey Shore "pass" on. We came up with our list from two sources...a national poll and a local poll of YOU at home here at the Jersey Shore.
Listen to Shawn Michaels mornings on 92.7 WOBM and download our free 92.7 WOBM app
First, let's look at the response from YOU and which side dishes YOU dislike most:
Joey: Brussel sprouts
Carol: Yams
Karen: Dried Corn (What?)
Carmen: Stuffing
Rick and Jan: Green bean casserole
LJ: Yams with marshmallows that's gross
Allison: Cranberry sauce
Gretchen: Sweet potato casserole with marshmallows
Sheri, Ellen and Sue (Not Moll): Turkey
Ed: Peas
Now my least favorite comes from when I was very little my Aunt and Uncle would make ambrosia. If you are asking what that is...Ambrosia salad is a creamy fruit-like salad that has mandarin oranges, coconut, pineapple, and marshmallows. It was THE WORST and still to this day I cannot even stomach the sight of ambrosia lol I was scarred as a child lol. By the way, if you love ambrosia enjoy it because I won't take it from you lol
Now as far as the national survey, Fox Business reported a poll from Instacart/Harris as to the nation's most disliked Thanksgiving side dishes...CLICK HERE to see the results of their survey.
