There are all kinds of fantastic ways to enjoy a Jersey Shore BlueClaws game at First Energy Park, in addition to the great baseball on the field, such as all the mouth watering food, beverages and games where there can be fun for fans of all ages.

Now, you'll be able to head to the ballpark and enjoy a whole new, exciting level of food, beverages and entertainment while watching BlueClaws games -- or even when there are no games scheduled that day.

The BlueClaws have announced that starting on Opening Night on April 8, there will be a brand new bar/restaurant that they'll be debuting on the second level of the ballpark called the 'Blue Wave Bar', which will have full on coastal/Jersey Shore vibes.

If you're a fan of the sea, you'll be living in a seafood paradise at this new bar/restaurant as they will have a Clam Boat on the menu that features clam strips on a split-topped buttered roll --  mmmm, clam strips on a buttered roll.

In addition to that, you'll be able to feast your pallet on crab fries tossed in Old Bay seasoning and smothered in cheese sauce as well as enjoying a Fried Seafood Platter and a lot more where that came from.

This new restaurant-bar will be open when the gates are and will stay open until an hour after the final out of the game.

There will also be a Happy Hour before the game and upon first pitch, you'll see some food and drink specials along the way.

“Over the last several years, we have worked hard to bring the look and feel of the Jersey Shore to the ballpark. We started by adding mini golf and boardwalk games to the park in 2018. Last year, we debuted the Sand Bar, a fun outdoor food and drink space with live music. Now, we're excited to open a new bar and restaurant, the Blue Wave Bar, inside on the second level," Jersey Shore BlueClaws Team President Joe Ricciutti said in a statement. "While previously, this space was only open to Suite-holders and season ticket holders, we felt that with this new renovation it was important to make this an area that everyone in the park can enjoy.”

As for the aforementioned Jersey Shore vibes at this new place, you'll see some of our towns, beaches and other spots where you've seen a classic Ocean County/Monmouth County sunset.

But, the pictures of all those wonderful views will, in part, come from you! So start taking some sunrise, sunset, beach and other Shore pictures and send them in.

“We want fans to be a part creating this new space, so we are asking fans to send us their best photos of the Jersey Shore. This could be their favorite beach, a sunset photo they are particularly proud of, waves rolling on to the beach, a great shot of the bay, or an iconic Jersey Shore landmark," Ricciutti said.

If you feel you've got the ultimate Jersey Shore picture on your phone or camera, send along those high-resolution pictures to bluewavebar@blueclaws.com and yours may be put up at the bar along with a small plaque giving you photo credit and its location.

“We have always considered the BlueClaws to be a part of the Jersey Shore and through these photos, we will continue with the help of the community, to bring the best of the Jersey Shore to the ballpark," Ricciutti said.

If the team is on the road or there are no games scheduled that day, you can still enjoy the Blue Wave Bar as well by renting it out for special events, corporate meetings and parties, the team said.

“This is a completely different space than we have anywhere else in the ballpark and it gives us the opportunity to host unique events year-round,” Ricciutti said.

In between enjoying some great seafood, you can practice your swing at the nine-hole Manasquan Bank Mini Golf Course as well as the Toyota World of Lakewood Boardwalk, both of which have been ballpark staples since 2018 and features games including Ring Toss, Goblet Toss, Balloon Darts, and Cat Rack.

“The launch of the Boardwalk enabled us to be very creative and incorporate it into the fan experience. One of the most popular with fans is the value-driven Boardwalk Bundle ticket which comes with complimentary boardwalk game tickets and a hot dog, soda, and novelty ice cream. It’s a great value for a family looking for a fun night out," Ricciutti said. "With this area now being open the public, and with us wanting our season ticket holders feel especially at home, we are extending an exclusive 10% discount to them in the Blue Wave Bar."

There are certain exclusions the team said and alcohol is not included in this particular deal.

“These areas certainly helped pave the way to the Jersey Shore BlueClaws,” Ricciutti said. “One of our goals has been to combine the best of the Jersey Shore with a night out at the ballpark and these areas have certainly been a key part of that. We’ve been thrilled with the reaction to the birth of the Jersey Shore BlueClaws over the last 15 months and look forward to many, many years here as part of the Jersey Shore community.”
