World’s First 3D Printed Home Is For Sale In New York
Here's your chance to own a piece of history and get it at a pretty good price. This 3D printed house is for sale for $299,000 in Riverhead, New York, and is about 50% lower in price than most homes in the area.
According to the article at News 10, the typical looing three-bedroom, two-bathroom house at 34 Millbrook Lane, is not only the world's first 3D printed home, but it's also the largest at just over 1,400 square feet of living space.
The technology that SQ4D used to build the house on Long Island is amazing to watch. It looks like a combination of a regular 3D printer and someone putting frosting on a cake....that is if the frosting looked like concrete.
