Naming New Jersey's most popular cookie is like trying to name our favorite pizza. There are plenty of right answers and no wrong answers.

That challenge was taken on by Taste of Home, as reported at msn.com. They have recently named the most popular cookie in each state in America. So, what's the most popular cookie in the Garden State?

Taste of Home based their findings on delicious local recipes, and here is what they came up with for New Jersey. Tender Italian Sugar Cookies. What? Now don't get me wrong, that sounds amazing, and I'm sure if I tasted one it would be my favorite, but I never tasted one.

I have tasted some amazing chocolate chip, peanut butter, three layer, macaroon, butter, sugar, biscotti (pronounced bish-cuth-uh , at least that's how I say it.), oatmeal raisin, shortbread and girl scout cookies, and I love them all.  But I never had a Tender Italian Sugar Cookie. Not yet at least.

So, here's the deal. This recipe was sent in to Taste of Home by Weda Mosellie of Phillipsburg and if you want to give this amazing cookie, here's the recipe.  Cook those up and let me know when they're done, because I want one!
