It's Valentine's Day, but if you're not feeling quite right, love may not be the bug that bit you here in the Garden State.

The latest update from the New Jersey Department of Health has New Jersey's flu activity listed as 'high' once again this week, and the most recent data (week ending February 9th) has us among the weeks with the highest positive flu test results of the season.

Each of the 5 regions in the Garden State are in the 'high activity' classification as well, so there really is nowhere in the state any less affected by the flu than any other.

The CDC's website lists New Jersey among 47 states that have widespread flu activity. West Virginia and Alaska activity is 'regional', Hawaii  and D.C. report 'local' activity, and the U.S Virgin Islands flu activity is 'sporadic'. (Data is for the week ending February 2nd).

By way of comparison, New Jersey was also reported with the same 'high activity' for this week last year. You can get all the latest data at the New Jersey Department of Health website.

And if you haven't gotten your flu shot, The CDC says that getting the vaccine even later than January can still be beneficial.
