Update – How Many Are Still Without Power In Monmouth & Ocean?

The severe storm that blew through Monmouth and Ocean Counties yesterday has left damage and power outages in its wake.

As we wake up this morning, there are still many Monmouth & Ocean County residents without power. Here are the latest numbers on the amount of area residents still without power as of early this morning.

Monmouth County...117,362 customers affected (out of 288,110 customers served)

Ocean County...47,660 customers affected (out of 251,381 customers served)

The numbers can be followed on the First Energy website. The site is updated approximately every fifteen minutes. You can also attempt to get info on your specific location with the JCP&L Power Outage Map.

The outages reported are literally scattered all over both counties, and crews are working around the clock to restore power to all affected.
