Okay, so you and I already discussed this yesterday, but National Donut Day is on Friday.

Dunkin', Krispy Kreme, and other donut shops are celebrating, but an amazing local business here in Ocean County is also doing something special for the big day. Uncle Dood's Donuts in Toms River is bringing back its "Dirty Jerz" donut! Check out the shop's Facebook Post:

The donut will only be around on Friday while supplies last, and you can't make reservations, so you have to act quickly if you want some Dirty Jerz! I've never had one, but it sounds like it'd be a fun breakfast food - cheese, ketchup, and diced pork roll on a warm donut? Yum! Plus, this donut just SCREAMS Jersey. It doesn't get any better than that.

The donut is popular with locals too - there were tons of excited comments about the news like "Wow. This is a long-awaited comeback!" and "My favorite donut! Always check to see if it's back on the menu so excited!"

And if this Jerseyfied donut isn't your thing, don't worry - you can still order off Uncle Dood's June Menu on Friday. Check it out below:

I feel like that Tye Dye donut is calling my name.

Uncle Dood's Donuts is located at 4 Robbins St. in Toms River and will be open from 6:30 am - 1:30 pm on Friday. But remember, the Dirty Jerz donut will only be available while supplies last!
