Two teenagers, including one who struck a Brick Police officer with their ATV on Thursday afternoon, are being brought up on a number of charges.

The officer was investigating a complaint on 19th Avenue and Walnut Drive where roadwork is ongoing and several streets are coned off for construction.

The two teens were driving into the restricted area.

When they realized they were cornered they ignored the officers commands to stop.

As they sped off, the rear fender of an ATV struck the officer and ran over his foot.

The officer did not suffer any injuries as a result of being hit.

Police continued looking for the teens who turned themselves in on Thursday night accompanied by their parents.

The juvenile males were charged with Obstructing the Administration of Law, Reckless Driving, Operating Unregistered Vehicles, and Failure to Wear Helmets While Operating an ATV.
