A two month investigation into possible drug dealing resulted in the arrest of a Manchester Township man on Friday night February 17.

Investigators say 37-year old Jemel Cooper was found with copious amounts of heroin, crack-cocaine and cash upon a traffic stop on Route 70 shortly followed by a search of his Ridgeway Road home as police executed a search warrant of the premises.

The police department's Narcotics Enforcement Team had been conducting surveillance on Friday when they spotted him get into his 2011 Dodge Charger.

He was pulled over on the Toms River border and arrested without incident.

Police obtained more than 13-grams of crack-cocaine, 110 doses of heroin and $1,001.00 in cash in which investigators believe is the result of drug deals.

He is charged with possession and distribution of heroin, possession and distribution of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia and was released on a criminal summons, while his car was taken pending forfeiture.
