
Toms River Police Warn Residents To Lock Vehicles
Toms River Police are once again warning residents to lock their vehicles and remove valuables from plain site as 20 unlocked cars are broken into early Friday morning.
Chief Mike Mastronardy says the incidents took place on Barlett Place, Alden, Wedgewood, Round Tree, Breezy Oaks, Cornell and Cedar Grove streets. Witnesses describe the suspects as young white males, dressed in dark clothing and carrying backpacks.
Missing items include cash, GPS devices, gift cards and small change.
