Toms River cleaning lady charged with theft may have robbed others, police say
A cleaning lady is accused of selling jewelry she swiped from a Lakewood home, according to Township Police.
31-year-old Guadalup Menses Gomez of Toms River allegedly had been regularly selling jewelry at area pawn shops since July of this year, Detective Lieutenant Greg Staffordsmith told The Lakewood Scoop.
Gomez was arrested Thursday and charged with theft. Authorities believe there may be other victims who are unaware their items may have been stolen, according to Staffordsmith.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Chase Messer at 732-363-0200 ext. 5348.
