Toms River announces meeting dates for 2019

Toms River officials have announced their council meeting dates for 2019 as well as other township organized meetings all residents are welcome to attend.

The township council passed a resolution at their annual reorganization meeting on Thursday night pursuant to the Open Public Meeting Act of New Jersey c.231 of P.L. 1975.

The Township Council meetings will take place in the Municipal Complex, 33 Washington Street, upstairs in the Manuel Hirshblond meeting room.

The meetings will take place on Tuesday’s at 6:00 p.m., unless otherwise noted:

Regular business will be conducted and formal action will be taken at these meetings and resolutions may be adopted at these public conferences and/or regular meetings, providing for the Township Council to meet in Executive Session, specifying matters to be discussed requiring confidentiality or of a privileged nature.

Town officials also say that regular conferences and/or meetings may be cancelled pursuant to c.231 of P.L. 1975 and that rescheduled regular and/or special conferences and/or meetings shall be duly advertised.

All meetings will be conducted in accordance with ROBERTS RULES OF ORDER and a permanent record shall be maintained as to all regular and/or special and/or emergency conferences and/or meetings in the Office of the Township Clerk.
