There’s a New Tree in Barnegat, A Dollar Tree

I remember at one point this location in Barnegat, just past the Waretown border, was a pharmacy. If my memory serves me correct it was a Rite Aid, but I may stand corrected?

Regardless of the past, there is now a new "tree" in Barnegat, a Dollar Tree. The new location on Route 9 is now open and has this nice corner unit.

Regardless of what company has moved in, the good thing is that this location has re-opened and offers a service to the co9mmunity, and provides local jobs. Nothing worse than seeing all the empty businesses around the state so seeing new businesses bring life and opportunities into the Ocean County area is a good thing, regardless of what actual business it is.

Some interesting statistics about Dollar Tree. There are more than 160 Dollar Tree locations in New Jersey. The largest Dollar Tree store is located in Plainfield..almost 13,000 square feet. According to Google, Dollar Tree is the largest and most successful single-price-point retailer in North America. It's estimated that Dollar Tree is worth nearly 26 billion dollars...that's a lot of balloons!

I think we all shop for certain things at Dollar Tree, what are your favs at Dollar Tree? I think I go most often for garbage bags, sandwich bags, and paper towels. I would also say that their holiday items are cute and cost-effective so more and more we grab little holiday items at Dollar Tree.
