What Were The Jersey Shore’s Top Halloween Costumes In The 90’s?

We all know the hot costumes for this Halloween. We're tripping over them every time we walk down the aisle of just about any store. But it's always fun to look back and remember the costumes that were all the rage in years past. So we've picked some years, done some research and now we can present to you the top Halloween costumes from our Jersey Shore past.

There weren't unanimous decisions for the top costume spots in some of the years, so we have included multiple costumes in some years. And we've only chosen key years. Enjoy!

1993...Ninja Turtles and Barney the Dinosaur, according to Pop Sugar. Oh ,the days of the big purple dinosaur and Donatello, Michelangelo, Rafael and Leonardo. Seems like just yesterday.

1994...Both Popsugar and Active Times agree on the top Halloween costume of 1994. It's Morphin Time! The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers dominated Halloween 27 years ago.

1995...We all were heading to infinity and beyond in the mid 90's. Woody and Buzz Lightyear were the biggest choices in the mid 90's.

1996...It was all about Scream 25 years ago, and both Popsugar and Active Times agree that the scary long ghost face from Scream was the costume to have.

1998...It's also a unanimous decision here. South Park was king, and we were all being Cartman and Kenny and the rest.

1999...All you needed at the end of the century was a great leather coat and some cool sunglasses. Matrix was the costume of the year in '99.

So, as we set out to make new Halloween memories with our own little ones, it's kind of fun to look back at the Halloweens that made us happy as kids!
