The 41st Annual Ship Bottom Christmas Parade

Yes Virginia there will be a Christmas Parade on Long Beach Island. Officials have announced this years plans for the annual Ship Bottom Christmas Parade.

This years parade will mark the 41st Annual Ship Bottom Christmas Parade. The parade will step off on Long Beach Island on Saturday December 5th  beginning at 1pm along Long Beach Blvd from 5th to 25th Streets.

According to the Southern Ocean Chamber of Commerce, the Borough of Ship Bottom and their volunteer Christmas Parade Committee has made adjustments to reflect the COVID-19 guidelines of keeping parade participants and spectators safe.

This annual event in Ship Bottom is a wonderful family event and it's great to see that this outdoor event will take place and folks can enjoy ringing in the Holiday Season as they have since 1979.

Kids can bring their letters to Santa for postal cancellation stamps at Ship Bottom Borough Hall.

The Ship Bottom Christmas Tree Lighting will take place Friday night December 4th sponsored by Ship Bottom Borough Merchants.
