Superstorm recovery workshop Wednesday in Neptune City

Shore dwellers who withstood Superstorm Sandy, and who find the blizzard of red tape around recovery even more stress-inducing, can sound off Wednesday evening in Neptune City.

State Senator Jennifer Beick (R-11) wants to know where the hurdles are on the road to restoration. Speak to her in the Shark River Hills Firehouse, starting at 6 PM.

Long-term recovery groups in Monmouth and Ocean Counties have helped hundreds upon hundreds of home owners navigate through the RREM and LMI prorgrams, as well as uncovering fraudulent contractors and holding them accountable.

The New Jersey Department of Community Affairs has held nearly 50 RREM workshops in New Jersey's nine Superstorm-struck counties.

The firehouse is on Brighton Avenue, adjacent to Route 18, south of Route 33.
