Sunday night shooting under investigation in Toms River
Toms River Police and the Ocean County Prosecutors Office Major Crimes Unit announced they are investigating a shooting that took place on Main Street Sunday evening around 8:30 pm along with the Ocean County Sheriff's Office CSI Unit.
One man was wounded and brought to Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune with life threatening injuries.
Further information has not yet been released with the shooting still under investigation.
Investigators said that there is no danger to the public at this time.
