Shrewsbury Bagel Shop Gets Honored

As residents of New Jersey, we salute bagels as often as we can. We pay tribute to them by praising our state as the best bagel state in the nation.

And we don't give our self-proclaimed title a second thought. But it is nice when a national platform agrees with us. It's easy for New Jersey to have a "best bagel shop" on a list of the national website picks a representative from each state.

But that is not the case on the "Best Bagel Shops In America List" published by Cheapism. There are only 30 bagel shops listed. Now, I'm no math or history genius, but that's not enough to have one from each state.

That's why it's pretty awesome that when a list of the best 30 bagel shops in America comes, we find a Shrewsbury bagel shop on that list.

Now, the list isn't ranked by number, so there is no technical #1 on the list, but as far as I'm concerned, our Shrewsbury entry on the list has everything to make it #1.

The bagel shop that gets the honor of being on this list, and by default, claims the title of "best bagel shop" in New Jersey, is Bagel Masters on Broad St, in Shrewsbury.

And if you've been there, this is no surprise to you. Not even a little.

It's all about the amazing bagels, and the unbelievable bagel sandwiches that Bagel Masters is famous for.

And those specialty spreads are truly the meaning of 'to die for'. Bagel Masters is a special place and holds a special place on this national list. Congratulations.

The fact that only one New Jersey bagel shop made this list is a conversation for another day. But for now, let's just enjoy this great honor for an awesome local business.
