A late night fire at a home in Marlboro Township required the presence of several crews to put out the flames emanating from the garage.

Marlboro Police said that they responded to the 911 call from the homeowner around 11:11 pm on Tuesday night over on Sarah Court.

When they arrived on scene, police confirmed that everyone was safely out of the residence.

There were no reported injuries as a result of the fire or among any of the firefighters and first responders on scene putting out the flames and providing assistance at the scene.

Several fire departments responded to the garage fire alongside Marlboro Police from the Marlboro Fire Department to Roberstville Volunteer Fire Company, Morganville Fire Department and Marlboro Fire Bureau as well as first responders from the Marlboro First Aid Squad, Morganville First Aid Squad, Monmouth County Fire Marshal’s Office, Gordons Corner Fire Company and Adelphia Fire Company.

The fire is still under investigation but Marlboro Police said that right now, it doesn't appear to be suspicious in nature, with the initial investigation looking at it being a possible electrical cause.
