A Red Bank man involved in a November 18 domestic dispute where he was allegedly in possession of a handgun is arrested Wednesday in Asbury Park.

Investigators found 23-year old Jarred Boynton hiding in a closet under a pile of clothes Wednesday.

Asbury Park Police were on the scene November 18 for reports of an armed subject and possible shots fired, but none have since been reported.

Following the November 22 collar, police are charging Boynton with Unlawful Possession of a handgun and Terroristic Threats.

Investigators also seized the handgun allegedly used in the incident.

Boynton is being held at Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

Members of the U.S. Marshall Service Task Force, Asbury Park Police Street Crime Unit and Asbury Park Detective Bureau were on scene during the arrest.
