Following the Primary Election on Tuesday, Ocean County GOP Chairman Frank Holman announced who will be representing the party at the RNC in August.

Ginny Haines, who is an Ocean County Freeholder, and Bill Palatucci unanimously won re-election as RNC Committeewoman and RNC Committeeman representing New Jersey at the RNC Convention.

Elsewhere, Holman said said Ruthanne Scaturro will serve as the 3rd Congressional District Delegate with Esther Libenschek serving as the Alternate District Delegate.

Scaturro retired from Ferguson Enterprises after 28 years and Holman said has been very active in the Brick Township Council over the years and is Vice Chair of the Brick Township Municipal Committee.

She is also a Commissioner on the Ocean County Library and the Ocean County Board of Health and has served as President of both the Lakewood and Brick Chambers of Commerce and has been involved with many community non-profits in Ocean County.

Libenschek currently owns and operates two family businesses in Ocean County.

Holman said she has several year’s experience in election campaigns and was a current founder and President of the Stafford Conservative Republican Club and is the Club President.

For the 4th Congressional District, Holman has appointed Michael Thulan as the District Delegate.

Thulen is currently the New Jersey State Director of Rural Development at USDA.

Holman said Thulan got involved in politics at a very young age working on his father’s campaigns.

"He has been very involved with Ocean County politics on many levels. He served as President of the Ocean County Young Republicans, served as Chairman of the New Jersey Young Republican Federation, served as Treasurer of the Young Republican National Federation and served as Councilman in Point Pleasant Borough. Mr. Thulen is also a past board member of Hometown Heroes and past Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Brick Township Housing Authority. Michael was named Young Republican Man of the Year by the Young Republican National Federation in 2019."

The Republican National Convention will be held from August 24 to August 27 in Charlotte, North Carolina and in Jacksonville, Florida.
