Some of us have kids that are hard core Halloween fans. They want a haunted house to bring it's most terrifying A-game....there are plenty of places for that BUT I wanted to share some celebrations with you that are not super-scary for  the little kiddos. There are super-fun events happing in New Jersey and PA too!

This is my favorite one!  I'm a Sesame Street super fan...always have been. In fact when I was a kid, I used to try to sound cool so I would just call it "Street".  It's all about the rep ya know? The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular is taking place at Sesame Place in Langhorne, PA!  Kids can come in costume from September 18 to November 7th, and see their favorite Sesame Street characters dressed up for Halloween. There is also a Not-Too-Spooky Halloween Drive-Thru running September 28-October 28th with millions of lights. Guests stay in their cars and drive through the fun with all of our favorite characters.

It's Spooky Time at American Dream!
All decorated for Halloween from October 8-31st you can visit Nickelodeon Universe for the Boo-Niverse celebration, with costumed meet-and-greets and a Monster Mash. American Dream’s trick or treat (October 25-31) will feature a two-story candy chute, their spooky skate (October 29-31) will have spooky tunes on their ice rink. And don’t miss the 50+ foot inflatable spider from October 19-31...your kids are gonna love this!

Trick-or-Treat Train
DiDonato’s Family Fun Center, Hammonton offers tricks, treats and surprises for the kids with a train ride. Afterwards, climb on the hay maze, pick a pumpkin from the patch, play on the racing slide and meet the local witch.

Fright Fest
Six Flags Great Adventure, Jackson
Six Flags during the day is all about Halloween fun and not the big scare. The kids can walk the sweet Pumpkin Patch Lane, and grab candy on the trick-or-treat trail, and bust a move at a Spooktacular Dance Party. There is even a witch story-telling session!

Celebrate Fall Festival
Reeves-Reed Arboretum, Summit
On October 17, the arboretum will host a fall celebration with a Spooky Trail featuring crafts, games, music, treats and goats.
