No Jersey Shore Beaches In America’s Top 25?

With all the great beaches right here at the Jersey Shore, does it surprise you that not one made a recent top 25 American beaches list?

It turns out that there is quite a bit of competition from places like Hawaii and Florida, and Trip Advisor determined that no Jersey Shore beaches would make this year's Top 25 list.

As a matter of fact, 9 of the top 10 beaches on the list are from Hawaii or Florida, and only 7 of the top 25 are from states other than Hawaii and California.

The closest beaches to the Jersey Shore to make the list was Virginia Beach, Virginia (#25), Ogunquit, Maine (#18) and Provincetown, Massachusetts (#24).

So, what are the top 3 beaches in America according to Trip Advisor> Here they are?

(3) Panama City Beach, Florida

(2) Ka’anapali Beach, Hawaii

(1) Clearwater Beach, Florida

So where are all our great Jersey Shore beaches? Where is Asbury Park and Point Pleasant and what about Bay Head? How about Belmar, Bradley Beach, Spring Lake and Avon. I could go on.

It looks like Jersey Shore beaches won't get the national love on this one, but there's plenty of local love to go around for our favorite beaches. Maybe next year.
