We're tough in Jersey...a bit rebellious...and ready to get back to business. Mix all that together and you have a recipe for some problems.  State officials are still cracking down on bars that allegedly violated Jersey's COVID executive orders. Ten more places received warnings in the last two weeks, seven of which are in South Jersey and the Jersey Shore.

We are just about to have our biggest reopening yet, capacity limits at restaurants, stores, offices and more will be lifted by May 19. You'll be able to enjoy indoor bar-side seating too.  Of course, 6-foot social distancing requirements are still in place.  We are SO close...don't blow it now!

The following businesses were found in violation for not enforcing the use of masks and or social distancing, as well as violating the indoor capacity limits. Those who commit repeated violations find themselves in danger of having their licenses revoked (one already was in Wildwood a while back).

So far, 44 businesses were cited, here are 10 more that received warnings for violations:
• Breakers Kitchen and Tap in Waretown
• Black Dog - 7 Stools in Little Egg Harbor
• Klee's Bar and Grill in Seaside Heights
• Yesterday's Bar in Upper Township
• Tuckahoe Inn in Upper Township
• Levari's Seafood and American Grill in Upper Township
• Old City Pub in Wildwood
• The Deck at Holly Beach in Wildwood
• Firehouse Tavern in Wildwood
• Blue Water Grille in Wildwood

These executive orders are lifting very soon, and we're so close to getting back! Hang on just a bit longer and whatever you do, don't lost that liquor license...Lord knows I'll need a drink or five this summer.  Thank you to The Patch for the original reporting.
