Yesterday, I was reading about the newest ride at Six Flags Great Adventure and it dawned on me that I have a great idea for a ride at Great Adventure.

I am glad to share the idea with you, and even though I didn't secure any rights to it, here it is. If it turns out to be a million dollar idea I'm going to regret this, but here we go.

My idea for a ride at Great Adventure is inspired by my many millions of miles I've logged on the Garden State Parkway and the permanent memories that some of the worst driving I've ever seen has etched on my mind.

I think the ride should be called The Left Lane, and the commercial for it should read something like this...

"Are you ready for the the thrills, chills and peril of The Left Lane? Get ready to put your life in the hands of drivers who just have to answer that latest text right now? Are you ready for the swerves, the treacherous tailgating and the spine tingling sudden stops of The Left Lane?

Can you handle the lane changes without signaling? Can you stomach the terror of tourists entering from the left lane after a Rest Area break? Are you ready for life in the left lane. Buckle up, you're about to take the ride of a lifetime in the Left Lane.  Not recommended for visitors with heart condition or blood pressure concerns",

So, what do you think? Am I on to something? I think I am. Just think. We have the luck of having one of the greatest amusemant parks in the world right neat us, and the greatest thrill ride disguising itself as a roadway in the world as well.

Enjoy the rides!
