If you thought that warmer temperatures and spring's arrival meant the end of flu season in the Garden State, think again.

According to the latest data at the New Jersey Department of Health website, flu activity is "high" in every region of New Jersey. The information is for the week ending March 23, 2019.

The flu activity levels should come as no surprise this time of year, as the activity levels are the same as they were for this week last year, according to the website. So how much longer will we deal with it?

Well, some experts warn that we could be season significant flu through the early part of April, but then we should begin to see a decline. The CDC says that New Jersey is one of 44 states with " widespread" flu activity according to their most recent data.

So, let's continue to wash our hands frequently and avoid any of our sniffling, sneezing, coughing, feverish or achy friends, co-workers and family members, at least for the time being.
