Lakehurst Police have charged a Toms River pair with possession of heroin, crack and hypodermic needles at the McDonald's on Route 70 around 8:27 pm on April 5.

Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person but found both Rocco Bousanti, 51, and Bria Krohn, 24, under the influence of drugs when they arrived.

An on scene investigation by responding officers led to a discovery of a Hypodermic Needle that was Krohn was hiding while also exhibiting signs of being under the influence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance.

Bousanti was also exhibiting signs of being under the influence of CDS.

He was found with 15 wax folds containing suspected Heroin and less than one half ounce of suspected Crack Cocaine.

Both Krohn and Bousanti were placed under arrest and transported to Lakehurst Police Headquarters for processing.

Police then found an additional seven wax folds containing suspected Heroin were found with Krohn who was processed and charged with Possession of Heroin, Failure to Surrender CDS to Law Enforcement, Possession of a Hypodermic Needle and Being Under the Influence of CDS Without a Prescription. Mr. Bousanti was processed and charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Crack Cocaine, Failure to Surrender CDS to Law Enforcement and Being Under the Influence of CDS Without a Prescription.

Both Krohn and Bousanti were issued warrants for the charges and were transported to the Ocean County Jail where they were lodged pending a mandatory court appearance with the Ocean County Superior Court.
