Lacey Detectives are combing through the community looking for a bandanna wearing bank robber wanted from an incident Wednesday at the Kearny Federal Savings Bank on Route 9 north around 2:33 pm in the Lanoka Harbor section.

The man entered the bank and demanded cash from the tellers, did not show a weapon, but did take off with the loot and headed towards the woods.

Bank tellers describe the suspect as a male, 5’8”, with a thin build, wearing dark-colored clothing and had a bandanna covering his face.

Lacey Police Detective Brian Flynn is the investigating officer and is being assisted by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office, Ocean County Sheriff’s Office CSI and K9 Units, and additional officers/detectives from the Lacey Township Police Department.
