R Bar Asbury Park Is Open

The long anticipated opening of R Bar in Asbury Park took place this weekend, just in time for Mother's Day, and from all indications it was a huge success.

This was the first open weekend for the R Bar, and all you have to to to get excited about it is to check out the menu. There are so many great options, you're biggest challenge might be making a final decision.

It is wonderful

Food is delicious.

It’s a fun and unique atmosphere.

And they essentially have 3 places in 1.They main dining room, upstairs bar and an outdoor courtyard, with very different feels in each place..

They’re planning on opening a wine and cheese shop so you can get your stuff and sit in the garden like a picnic. So it’s casual if you want, or full service.

I checked that menu, and I have my order ready for my first visit there. I'm all in on the Cacio e Pepe deviled Eggs for starters. For an entree, I can't stop thinking about the Cauliflower Steak for an entree, and I'll take the Disco Fries on the side.

I'm going to wrap up my experience with an order of Bananas Foster Brownie for dessert. No wonder everyone has been so excited about this opening. The R Bar sounds like an amazing place.

R Bar is located at 1114 Main St in Asbury Park and features a main bar downstairs, a Green Room upstairs and and awesome backyard area as well, according to Asbury Park Sun and you can do everything from romantic dinners and special occasions to just popping in with your flip flops on after a day at the beach.
