We take our pizza seriously here in New Jersey.

Many old-school pizza aficionados turn their noses up at some of the outrageous toppings used on pizza.

And with good reason.  For instance, putting pineapple on a pizza is an abomination, and should never be allowed.

Sometimes, when you see what people are putting on their pizzas, you have to ask, when does a pizza stop being a pizza?

I've created a list of some of the more unusual pizzas available in New Jersey.

I'll leave it up to you to judge the merits of these pizzas.

Papa's Tomato Pies  19 Robbinsville-Allentown Rd, Robbinsville

These days, people are talking about a creation called Mustard Pies.

These pies have spicy brown mustard between the crust and cheese and it's topped with tomato, and any other topping you desire.

The result is a unique taste that's very good.
