New Jersey Company Featured On Latest Episode Of Shark Tank
Shark Tank is a high-stakes show where people bring their ideas, businesses, and inventions in front of a panel of investors, or sharks, and pitch why they should invest in their up-and-coming company.

More often than not, when I watch this show, the Sharks are out, not wanting to risk their money on a venture, but sometimes, they pull the trigger and invest in a start-up, and that just happened to someone from Jersey.
Stephen Longo is a fitness coach from West Orange who created a nutritional sweet-treat called the Orka Bar.
What Are Orka Bars?
They sell these at the Retro Fitness I go to in Bayville; they look like a Klondike Bar, except they're low in sugar, low in dairy, and high in protein.

Longo pitched his Orka Bars, which are made in Belmar, to the Sharks and was actually able to strike a deal!
What Deal Did Orka Bars Get On Shark Tank?
Lori Greiner struck a deal with Stephen Longo for $100,000 and 25 percent equity in the company, according to Primetimer.
Orka Bars are sold locally in a few stores in and around New Jersey, and are also available nationwide online.
The plan is for Orka Bars to expand its brand across the country.
