Today is 420 Day, do you know what 420 Day is? According to Wikipedia "420, 4:20, or 4/20 is cannabis culture slang for marijuana and hashish consumption, especially smoking around the time 4:20 p.m., and also refers to cannabis-oriented celebrations that take place annually on April 20."

So even though today is 420 Day, tomorrow is the big day for marijuana use, legal use, here in the Garden State. Thursday 4/21 legal sales of marijuana for recreational use begins and for some, it won't make any difference. One they already partake or Two, they don't care to partake. For many though they are very excited to be able to legally go shopping for their rec weed in New Jersey. Several stores will be opening tomorrow and it will be interesting to see how crowded these sites will be.

For us in Ocean - Monmouth we can either head north or south for the nearest store. There will be none, at first, open in Ocean or Monmouth County. Curious why they didn't open stores for the first time on 4/20 would've made sense, but I digress.

The point of my article is to take a very unscientific survey of how you at home are feeling about rec sales beginning this week in Jersey. Are you for, against, or somewhere in the middle or maybe you could care less? Do you view the new "pot" stores the same as a "liquor" store?
