Calling all beer drinkers!

Icarus announced a new partnership with the Ukrainian-based Brewery, known as Pravda Brewery, who sent a worldwide message to other brewers across the globe: If we release our recipes, you make and sell our beer and then donate your profits to our relief fund.

Icarus Brewing was quick to answer the call and help.

“You can’t look at the news right now, see what’s going on in the world, and not immediately throw your entire heart into it,” said Goldstein according to NJ.com.

Icarus Brewery is now in possession of one of Pravda Brewery's most popular recipes and they will soon be serving their own version of the local, Ukrainian beer.

The beer is called  "Putin Huylo," but be aware the recipe won't be an exact imitation because of the limited access to all of of Pravda Brewery's ingredients.

Not sure if this Ukrainian ale is for you? Well...let's see:

According to NJ.com, the Ukrainian based beer is being described as "a dry, hopped strong golden ale."

There is a small catch.
You will have to wait at least another three to four weeks before "Putin Huylo" fully matures after the fermentation process. Jason is hoping it will be ready to serve by the first or second week of April.

I suggest you follow Icarus Brewing on Facebook or Instagram because they will post updates on when their new Ukrainian brew is ready.

“I hope this really just brings awareness to people and encourages them to help out. Whether it is by buying the beer or donating online, whatever it is. Hopefully it opens those eyes and opens those checkbooks,” Goldstein added.

Jason has got one thing right: if there is anything that will open people's checkbooks, it is beer.
